Update:
Some pics from our whale watching experience. The whales were rather shy today and it was rather choppy!
Just a quick one for today as we are off out tonight for some socialising with the neighbours. i.e. our hosts.
To sum up, we had a terrific morning out on the RIB. Unfortunately the whales were not playing ball today and kept disappearing as soon as we sighted them. But, all is not lost. I got a couple of good shots and some video later in the day from the headland. Stay tuned for those. In the mean time, take a look at the video from yesterday. Well worth watching to the end, I know it’s a bit long and there are bits I could have cut out but I think it gives you some of the atmosphere and excitement, not to mention the difficulty we had in spotting them.
Basically, this is two babies and at least one female adult all playing together.
